From the visitors book "What a delightful cottage this is, beautiful scenery
and
a bottle of wine in front of a wood fire in the evening, what
more could you want."

Set apart from our other cottages beside a tumbling beck (stream) in its own wildlife garden, this cottage featured as January on the 1993 Country Living Magazine Calendar.
Beck cottage is a detached single storey barn conversion with a wealth of beams and exposed stonework. The arched stone fireplace houses a glass fronted wood burning stove which backs up the gas central heating. The open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge open onto the large informal wildlife garden. The double bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom with a bath and a shower.
Cycling: On and Off road cycling directly from the cottage. The quiet fell side roads around the Eden Valley offer scenic rides through picturesque villages with pubs & tea shops, while mountain bikers can test themselves and their bikes on tracks across the fells. Cycle hire is available from Eden Cycle Centre Penrith.
